That is just the control panel that turns off the lasers and opens the door.

   I hear the palm scanner has a bug in it and will open the door for anyone.

   Please don't play with it. I hear they have a battle ‘droid standing guard on the other side of the door to keep intruders out until they get the bug fixed.
